AFSCME International is offering a Financial Responsibility Training on August 5th, from 5- 7 p.m. This meeting will be held using ZOOM, an online video forum. Any AFSCME member who signs checks or conducts audits for their local is encouraged to take the class. This training is especially important for treasurers and other officers of the local union. You will learn what forms and reporting you are responsible to complete and where to find the information you need as well as best practices with your local finances. Members who deal with their local's finances are also encouraged to take advantage of the Financial Standards Code video tutorials at afscmetreasurer.org/trainings in addition to the live training.
