Join us for a two-day training, followed by a union-building field project in your local.
- Gain knowledge and skills to lead your union and win improvements for workers
- Increase your ability to work effectively as a union leadership team
- Build a structure to engage and mobilize your members
- Set goals and develop an action plan for strengthening your union at all levels
- Connect with others, be inspired, and have fun!
DAY 1 (SUNDAY, JUNE 25th):
- 10:00 am - training begins in room Congress/Senate
- 12:00 pm - break for lunch, provided
- 5:00 pm - dinner, provided
DAY 2 (monday, JUNE 26th):
- 8:30 am - breakfast in room Pool Area 1
- 9:00 am - training begins in room Congress/Senate
- 12:30 pm - break for lunch, provided
- 4:00 pm - training wraps up
AFSCME will provide all meals as well as double-occupancy hotel rooms for Sunday evening for all participants. Single rooms and/or additional night stays will need to be paid for on your own.
