AFSCME Council 65 Convention

At Convention, AFSCME Council 65 members come together to conduct the business of our union, to set priorities for the future, and to renew our commitment to our work and to each other. By action of the Council 65 Executive Board, the regular Annual Meeting of Minnesota and the Dakotas Council 65, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO, will be held October 16-18th, 2025 at the Kahler Grand Hotel in Rochester, MN.

Thursday, October 16th

9:00 am - 4:00 pm = Steward Training & Treasurer Training (these are stand alone trainings and can be attended by members without being a delegate to the convention, click to register for sessions)

12:00 pm - 4:00 pm = Registration

Friday, October 17th

7:00 am - 1:00 pm = Registration

9:00 am - 12:15 pm = Member Trainings (click for full schedule and to register for sessions)

1:00 pm - 5:00 pm = Convention in Session

5:00 pm - 11:00 pm = Banquet (social hour, dinner, evening entertainment)

Saturday, October 18th

7:00 am - 8:00 am = Registration

8:00 am to conclusion of business = Convention in Session
