Stand Up for Rural Healthcare

When: 3:30PM - 5:30PM
Where:

Fairview Range Medical Center, 750 E 34th St, Hibbing, MN

Join us in Hibbing as we host a press conference to protect healthcare for working families and rural communities.
Medicaid cuts passed by Congress threaten to take away coverage from over 100,000 Minnesotans and drain $2 billion a year from our state’s healthcare system. That means fewer patients, fewer jobs, and less access to care.

We’ll gather at Fairview Range Medical Center  at 3:30 PM on Thursday, July 17 at the corner of 37th St and 7th Ave to send a clear message: our communities won’t be sacrificed to fund tax cuts for billionaires. Park on the east side of 7th Ave.

This is about real people. Nurses, essential workers, patients, and families are standing together to demand what’s right.
We will be joined by local leaders, and healthcare workers on the frontlines of this fight.

AFSCME members, allies, and community supporters welcome.
Together, we fight for dignity, access, and healthcare justice.
